Founding a clan
Three linked players, one white flag, ten minutes. Then a name, a tag, and one of the thirty-three.
The ceremony
Get three linked players to one flagpole that is flying the white flag and belongs to no clan. Within ten minutes, each of the three lowers and raises the white flag. That is the whole ritual. The system spots it a minute or two after the log arrives and DMs each of you.
A clan is founded by three real people standing at the same pole at the same time. No form can prove that. The ceremony can.
The pole can also be a solo base declared to one of the three — see Bases. A pole already bound to a clan is never eligible.
Routine flag upkeep is one player lowering and raising, seconds apart. Three different people doing it at one pole inside ten minutes does not happen by accident, which is why the ceremony separates cleanly from noise.
The claim
Any one of the three goes to the site and claims the ceremony within 24 hours:
- Name — 3 to 32 characters, unique on the server.
- Tag — 2 to 5 letters or numbers, unique. This becomes your
[TAG]in Discord and on the map. - Flag — one of the 33 not currently held. The matching armband comes with it.
- Roster — the three participants, pre-filled. The claimant can drop anyone who wandered into the ceremony by accident, and becomes Leader.
The claim is refused if the pole is within 200 m of another declared base. The map cannot show you private bases, so a refusal is your first warning — see Bases for why the rule exists.
Your clan is now reserved: name, tag, flag and pole are yours and nobody else can take them — for 24 hours.
Activation
Within those 24 hours, any member raises your new flag at that pole. If a flag is already up, lower it first — the server only records the raise. The moment the log shows it:
- the clan is active, and the flag and tag are locked to you;
- your Discord channel and role are created;
- the clan feed announces you;
- the pole becomes your declared base;
- the founders are full members at once — they were standing at the base, which is all joining ever asks.
Miss the 24 hours and the reservation lapses: name, tag and flag go back to the pool, the feed says so, and you start over with a new ceremony.
Supplies
An active clan gets a starter kit spawned at its pole at the next server restart: building materials, tools, barrels, a fence kit and a watchtower kit. The kit refreshes at every restart while you are active. It pauses while your flag is down, stops if you go dormant, and comes back when you revive (Defending).
Every clan gets the same kit. Rank buys nothing. The top of the board does not compound.
Where you found is where you live
The ceremony pole is your base. Choose the spot like you mean it: it is where your supplies land, where your flag flies, and where a raid happens. Moving later is possible, but it costs a week — see rebind in Running a clan.
