Getting around

Travel points

The outhouses, well pumps and bus stops spread across the map are travel points — 209 of them. Every one is on the map as its own layer.

• Outhouse: stand inside.
• Well pump: stand on top.
• Bus stop: stand inside, in the middle of the shelter.

Log out, log back in

Log out while standing on the spot. When you log back in, you are at the Fast Travel Hub. Nothing happens if you just walk in and out — the move only happens on a relog.

Pick your destination

The Hub is a horseshoe of 31 porta-potties, one per town, in alphabetical order: left arm, back wall, then right arm. Stand inside the one you want, log out, log back in, and you arrive near that town.

Going somewhere else afterwards? Log out at any outhouse, well pump or bus stop to come straight back to the Hub. Travel as often as you like.

Supplies at the Hub

Basic survival gear is laid out by the arrival point: bandages, vitamins, maps, hatchets, pickaxes, sledgehammers, whetstones, rope, wire, nails, locks, flags, fuel canisters, and a full set of repair kits — duct tape, epoxy, sewing, leather, tire, electronics, weapon cleaning, blowtorch.

Fast travel and the war

• A relog through the Hub is a normal logout as far as the rules go. The combat logging rule still applies: no travelling out of a fight.
• Your map pin jumps with you. Clanmates will see you appear near your destination on the next five-minute fix.
• A town door is ordinary ground. If someone has declared a base within 100 m of one, arriving there counts as being at their base, and their map will say so.

Coordinates are X / Z. If you know the town name you know roughly where its door is.
