The map
Livonia, full screen, built for a phone. What you see depends on who you are, and every layer is a switch.
The map is behind login and a linked character. Nobody sees it without both.
| Layer | Who sees it | What is on it |
|---|---|---|
| You | everyone linked | your last known position |
| Your base | your clan, or you if solo | your declared pole and its 100 m watch zone |
| Clanmates | your clan | every member's last known position, name, and how old the fix is |
| Intruders | your clan, or you if solo | anyone who is not on your roster — pending members included — seen inside your watch zone; the pin moves on every fix while they are inside, and drops off after 60 minutes without one |
| Public bases | everyone linked | every undeclared pole past its grace, with the flag flying there |
| Pins | your clan | pins any member drops — icon, note, who and when |
| Travel points | everyone linked | all 209 fast-travel points — outhouses, wells, bus stops (Getting around) |
| Terrain | everyone linked | grid, towns, roads |
Positions come from the server log once every five minutes. Every pin shows its age — "14 min ago", "3 h ago", "yesterday". "Last known" means exactly that. Nobody can call a firefight from this map, and that is on purpose: it is a strategic map, not live tracking.
Only your own clanmates' positions are ever visible to you, plus intruders inside your own watch zone. A solo declarant gets the same intruder layer for their own base. No player's position is shown to anyone outside their clan for any other reason — not on a public page, not in Discord, not in an announcement.
Pins
Press and hold to drop one. Pick an icon — loot, vehicle, enemy seen, meet here, danger, note — add text if you want, and everyone in the clan sees it with your name and the time. Anyone in the clan can delete a pin. Pins expire after 7 days. Nothing about a pin ever leaves the clan.
Things the map is honest about
- A member who logged off an hour ago has an hour-old pin. A member gone a week has a week-old pin, dimmed. The map never implies someone is there when it does not know.
- A raid in progress will show up five to seven minutes late at best. Use it to know who has been around your base, not to fight.
- Dormant clans keep their map. Supplies stop; the map does not — you need it to go back and re-raise.
