Defending
Flag down, 24 hours. Raise it and it is a defense. Miss it and you go dormant. Getting raided can never cost you your colors.
Flag down
The moment a non-member lowers your flag, your clan is told โ clan channel and a DM to every member: your flag is down, re-raise within 24 hours or go dormant. Your supplies pause immediately.
Re-raise within 24 hours and it is a defense. Any member, your flag, your pole. It is announced, it goes on your clan page, and supplies resume at the next restart.
Miss the 24 hours and you are dormant: supplies stop, you are marked dormant on the directory and the scoreboard, and you are unranked until you revive. Your flag, name, tag and base stay yours.
Getting raided never costs you your identity. Only abandonment does.
Dormant by silence
Separately from raids: if no member raises your flag at your pole for 7 days, you go dormant on inactivity โ same effects. DayZ's own base decay runs on the same seven-day clock, so this is a raise you were making anyway.
Revive
Any member raises your flag at your pole. Active again instantly, supplies back at the next restart, back on the board with your season points intact.
Disband by abandonment
Dormant for 14 days straight and the clan is disbanded: name, tag and flag return to the pool, the Discord channel is deleted, and the base goes public after its 3-day grace. This is the only way to lose your flag, and it only happens to a clan nobody walked out to save in three weeks.
The log records a flag being raised or lowered by a person. It does not record a flag simply running out โ so a flag that quietly expires looks the same as silence, and silence is what the 7-day clock measures.
If the server itself goes dark โ no log at all โ the dormancy clocks pause. Nobody is disbanded for an outage.
Only your own members keep you alive
A non-member raising your flag does not count. It cannot reset your clock and it cannot revive you. What it does is tell your clan that someone was at your pole โ see Discord.
